As talented as Floyd is, when it comes to judging other talent he's not so great. He basically only chooses fighters that are associated with him, which makes sense, I guess, as he's trying to promote them.

Didn't Davis have beef with Tevin Farmer? I think Farmer beats him. They're in two different stages of their careers to be fair though.
Davis seems like an entertaining fighter.

I think people are taking what I said very wrong. I just meant that there's fighters that he has said would be the next star and he has been wrong on all of them so far.
I didn't mean that all of his stable are complete bums, so I wasn't attacking his company. He's just been wrong with predicting the next star.

It's not like I'm crucifying Floyd for being wrong, everybody has been wrong in predicting the next stars of boxing at least once.

I agree with you he has been wrong on many occasions (although he's got to hype up his own fighters) I think Floyds getting it wrong by trying to find the next Floyd Mayweather, the next guy that fights like him, there never will be he was a unique fighter, just like there will never be another Ali, the next star will be someone who brings something new and eye catching, not a repeat of what we've recently had, that's what he should be looking for.

Yeah I agree, I don't think it's bad that he's hyping up his own fighters. That's what you have to do as a promoter.

I agree, I think fighters should find their own iden******. It's not bad to steal things from other fighters here and there. Trying to be exactly identical is probably not the best idea though, because that style may work for some but not for others.
