That's funny because now that Floyd is retired, Ward will have all the racists undivided attention for being #1. And if he fails, the racists will probably jump on hating Terrence Crawford. It's amusing that you actually said this, because it kind of projects your way of thought on who you are going to hate next, or should I say what successful black fighter you are going to hate next. You probably don't notice, or maybe you do, but this post of yours pretty much clarifies your racially motivated way of following boxing or which boxer you criticize.

Ward is old news and has done nothing lately.

Time to move on. Guy just doesnt challenge himself.
He is a local oakland fighter .. a good fighter in his day. But that day is over . Its like morales coming back when he lost to maidana . Nothing more.

Ward didn't KO Froch. Do the math and count how many KO's Ward has had in forever. Lets do this, I will bet you 500 bucks that Ward does not stop Kovalev. We can have a secure company hold the money and the winner gets all. Ward is not stopping Kovalev. Put up when they sign. Ward can only outpoint Kovalev.

Nope just made a pretty good point highlighting the rampant racial bias held by the flowmoe nation.. the most avid of them as seen in this thread are all getting behind Ward like groupies.

These same fans will never give non black fighters the credit they deserve.

Ward was beating a 168 pound journeymen ..
A guy who wasnt throwing back . A guy who was no threat .
Ward showed little power. Kovalev is gonna steamroll him

What do you think of posters who root for white or non black fighters? Like Freedom and Mr Fantastic?

Why is it an issue if someone wants to root for some of the best black fighters, but it's okay when others want to be nationalistic and only root for Hispanics, or only root for Whites, or only root for Asians?

And you are wrong, PBP is disgustingly nuthugging Roman Gonzalez, and I personally feel Kovalev is the best fighter right now. Larry has been praising fighters like Pacquiao, Gonzalez, and Inoue. So you are making false claims about Floyd fans suposedly clinging on to Ward as #1.

Of course Floyd has the longetivity but a 38 year old Floyd wouldn't beat Andre Ward head to head if they were the same size. When you breakdown SOG:

Andre Ward is the most complete fighter in the sport of boxing. He can attack from all ranges and is defensively responsible at all times

Andre Ward is a master of distance. He is always too close to you or too far away from you to be able to land cleanly.

Andre Ward is an intelligent fighter. He makes in fight adjustments, takes away your best weapon and knows how to bait you into traps.

Andre Ward is battle tested. With wins over Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Dawson, Bika and Rodriguez. His resume is a whose who of the ranked contenders at one point in time.

The only thing that has held Ward back is injuries and legal disputes. His detractors have used outside of the ring drama in an attempt to create a false reality that he doesn't exist. The only arguments against Ward are:

He's boring I don't want to see him fight

                    He's inactive

                    He doesn't sell tickets

He's smug and I hate him

None of which has to do with boxing. With that said, brace yourself for the takeover of the next pound for pound boxing sensation. The rise to the top begins now!!! Feelings will be hurt, excuses will be made and dreams will be torched.
I really like Ward. Question does he still fight? I mean for real, not that last ****ing joke of an excuse for a fight, which was really just a glorified sparing session. Cuz if he's still fighting, I'd really like to see him fight.
