Former champion Amir Khan feels confident that a victory over ex-stablemate Manny Pacquiao could lure Floyd Mayweather Jr. out of retirement.
Khan (31-3, 19KOs) has been inactive since winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Chris Algieri in May. He was trying to secure Mayweather for a showdown on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather passed him over and instead selected Andre Berto.
The Bolton fighter is now in talks to face Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38KOs), and feels a victory will be enough to get Mayweather Jr (49-0, 26KOs) in the ring.
