Doug Fischer has another angle, Floyd doesn't disclose fight weight. Looks HUGE.

And those circumstances where it is not allwed are stated in the WADA rules.

The use of IV infusions in sport is commonly linked with rehydration after exhaustive effort, and this situation is arguably the major cause of debate. It must be understood that the use of IV fluid replacement following exercise to correct mild to moderate dehydration is not clinically indicated nor substantiated by the medical literature. There is a well-established body o scientific evidence to confirm that oral rehydration is the preferred therapeutic choice, potentially even more effective than IV infusion.

WADA does not allow IV treatment for mild to moderate re-hydration.

Floyd got a TUE for the IV. He tested negative form PED's before the IV was used.
No you are behind the times USADA had to amended their statement. Now they say that Floyd gave a partial sample before so any test is meaningless.

Remember the title of the original article "Can Boxing Trust USADA?"

Bottom line it doesn't matter if he is masking PEDs or using an IV to rehydrate. Using IVs to rehydrate is a banned practice under WADA. Its cheating. Its an unnatural method to add weight back after cutting. Its dangerous to both fighters and explicitly banned by WADA.

        • The amount of IV Floyd took insists that he was probably 165 on Fightnight against Pacman who was about 150.

          • Only Floyd fanboys think he is a welterweight. The guy didn't disclose his fight night weight for a reason, he always looked HUGE compared to his opponents. Most likely he was 162-165 on fight night every time out.

                • On the 30 day weigh in, Mayweather typically weighed in under 152lbs. The times he was weighed before a fight, he typically weighed under 152lb.

There's nothing to suggest he weighs upwards of 155lb.

Just take the L like men. It's been almost a year.
