I think it would be very accurate to say that Golovkin really does have an underwhelming resume' if Lemieux is his best opponent.

I do not rate Lemieux that highly, he is just a limited puncher in my book.

I will go even further.....

A number of posters have credited Lemieux for taking the Golovkin fight, which is fair enough, but what Team Lemieux are doing is simply taking that payday while it is available.

This is not a fight you can realistically marinate.

Lemieux is on a good run, and they are riding the wave.
