    This quote describes the dilemma of the next great American Heavyweight Champion:

    January 19, 2015:

    Wilder, 29, had hoped to play in the NBA or NFL before becoming a prizefighter. Most U.S. athletes who possess Wilder’s explosiveness, power and towering physique dream of team sports glory, not training to be a gladiator in a dank, sweaty gym (Wilder had hoped to play both basketball and football at University of Alabama, before his daughter was born with spina bifida and he was forced to abandon college to pay the medical bills).

    When the U.S. dominated the heavyweight division, boxers made more money than the NBA and NFL. Today, if you're 6'5" or better, with great athleticism, then it would be a much better business move to play football or basketball, rather than boxing! Nobody knows Breazale, Errol Spence Jr., or Gausha, but they know the Freshman Class of the University of Kentucky. It is what it is!

          klitscho is soft and scared to get hit. thats why he grabs like hell. the speed and power of wilder will make all the difference.

            Was pretty cool to see the sportsmanship between the two after the fight.

              I'll tell you talent and that's Anthony Joshua......wilder would get destroyed against him period...as for klitscko I think he has been champion long enough to prove his credentials so there is no doubting his metal and skill...as for wilder...fighting a journey man with zero speed and power who just walks forward slowly..and your saying about his talent lol......it's like putting a Sunday morning golfer against a top 10 pro in the world..let see when he comes against another top 10 pro......your name T.M.T says it all really...I suppose your happy that wilder is facing journeyman yeah..there has not been a great heavyweight since Lennox Lewis was around...klitchko is a notch below him yes....but he is also a few notches above Wilder for sure....when wilder faces and beats credible heavyweight then he will get my respect but I think he reign will be short lived because povetkin is number one contender and Anthony Joshua is number 2......Joshua is the real force in the division and even klitscko has said it.....btw they all say that against klitscko but look happens when they get in the ring...as for wilder David haye was blitzing him in sparring and we all saw what the Ukrainian did with this toy

                they're laughing at klitscho for the reason he pulled out of the fury fight. totally embarrassing

                  The good thing and I think you and everyone else can agree with is that we have some good potential Heavyweight matchups. Remember please remember John Ruiz was champion lol!! I wouldn't mind seeing the following;

                  Wilder v Haye
                  Povetkin v Haye
                  Stiverne v Haye
                  Povetkin v Stiverne
                  Fury v Jennings
                  Joshua v Jennings

                  I could list a couple more and of course Wladamir against and one of these guys that's he's not already beat or scheduled to face (Fury).

                      It's not that I'm downplaying wilder into a journey man...and he is exciting.....but it seems to becoming a trend now with al haymon fighters of not facing the best in there division and simply taking on mediocre and unworthy challengers and to keep hold of there belts anyway they can......we see it with Garcia...we see it with stevenson and wilder.khan and so on...yeah there good fights to be made for sure but some are not willing to fight the best
