If people blame Pacquiao, then they should be blaming Floyd too. There's no excuse for Floyd get a pass when Pacquaio at least tried to make the fight.

After Pac tasted those right hands in the first round, he quit. He didnt try anything but to not get ko'd. Didnt he say he was prepared for anything floyd would try? He thought he could outbox a supreme boxer and he lost the boxing match. here comes the ban.

That must've been in the mythical slo-mo boxing match that #48 fans watched. Or in the pinoy forum on this site.

The only opinion I want from Merchant are his alcohol suggestions.

I agree it was disappointing and he let people down. He clearly wasn't himself in that fight but still had his moments. But try and put yourself in his shoes for a moment if you can.. would YOU have pulled out of that fight? with all the money on the line, everything already booked, everyone all hyped up, and no guarantee of ever getting a shot at it again? Especially since it's been so difficult to get it made in the first place? He probably thought "it's now or never", and he could have been right.

                    1) Ali/Liston II there was a delay and the fight still happened

                    2) Ali/Foreman there was a delay and the fight still happened

"Especially since it's so difficult to get it made in the first place"
We now know it was all because of Pacquiao's side:
He didnt take the same drug test he eventually took (and because of what roach said, we know it was because of He and Pac, not floyd)
We know there was no contract to be signed when koncz said there was a delay in the contract signing by Mayweather, but that turned out to be a lie also.
If he REALLY was injured (and we know now by his words of no rehab and salt water excuse, he lied)
They apparently lied about Floyd being scared to fight pac and backed themselves into a corner
EVERY THING THAT DELAYED THE FIGHT, WE KNOW NOW, THAT IT WAS PAC'S SIDE
Come to grips with your faux god Manny Pacquiao. He lost. This is what happens in sporting events, and life. (boxingscene personel is going to ban me for saying the truth against Pac-Man.) I guess its just their policy.

**** off Merchant. Pac did his best. He was just overmatched. The fans built him up to achieve the impossible and the boxing world got a reality check.
