"Especially since it's so difficult to get it made in the first place"
We now know it was all because of Pacquiao's side:
He didnt take the same drug test he eventually took (and because of what roach said, we know it was because of He and Pac, not floyd)
We know there was no contract to be signed when koncz said there was a delay in the contract signing by Mayweather, but that turned out to be a lie also.
If he REALLY was injured (and we know now by his words of no rehab and salt water excuse, he lied)
They apparently lied about Floyd being scared to fight pac and backed themselves into a corner
EVERY THING THAT DELAYED THE FIGHT, WE KNOW NOW, THAT IT WAS PAC'S SIDE
Come to grips with your faux god Manny Pacquiao. He lost. This is what happens in sporting events, and life. (boxingscene personel is going to ban me for saying the truth against Pac-Man.) I guess its just their policy.
nice wall of text there bruh.
my POINT was: that IF he pulled out, he probably wouldn't get another shot.
they would call it a duck and move on to more easy money like Berto.

Did I ever say he didn't? Maybe you're confusing me with some hardcore fanatics but IMO that fight was a lose-lose-lose-lose (both fighters, the fans, AND the sport lost that night).

This is my main problem with Merchant.

How long has been around this sport.

How many rotator cuff injuries has he seen ?

I would love to hear Merchants take on that fight immediately afterward, before the injury thing came out.

He tried to box him and no one without height and reach is going to stand outside and beat Floyd Mayweather.
He had no choice. That fight was always going to be a boxing match.

This loss doesnŽt mean much to me, weŽll never know what could have happened without the illegal stuff in the first rounds when pac is more dangerous... and he never was a welter weight.

There was a point in time where Pac would have gone all out, even if it got him knocked out. He wouldn't have just accepted the loss the way he did.
