Both of their performances were disappointing but we already know Mayweather in recent years plays tag with opposition. Manny was supposed to be the one to make him show something else and this dummy gets suckered into a chess match.

The fight was a total blight on boxing, but especially Manny's poor sportsmanship after losing.

Merchant shouldn't blame Manny Pacquiao, he should blame Team Pacquiao! It was Team Pacquiao who said Manny was "scared of neeedles." It was Team Pacquiao who said "we need an outdoor stadium." It was Team Pacquiao who ignored the so-called injury, and than "failed to reveal it on the pre-fight paperwork." Why? Because Team Pacquiao painted Floyd as a coward, that he wouldn't sign the contracts, then later admit that there were no contracts. This is what Team Pacquiao was talking about days before the fight:

        April 30, 2015:

Over breakfast at his Las Vegas hotel, Pacquiao’s trainer Roach repeatedly told USA TODAY Sports that he fears Mayweather will find an excuse to withdraw from the contest, despite the huge amounts of money spent on tickets, pay per views and the overall production.

When asked for his thoughts on the matchup, Roach interjected swiftly. “If (Mayweather) shows up,” he said. “I am still worried about that. I won’t believe it until I see him in front of us in the ring.”

USA TODAY Sports repeatedly quizzed Roach as to whether he was joking, or merely trying to fan the flames of controversy in the build-up to the clash. Each time he was adamant that he held genuine concerns that Mayweather could cook up an excuse to miss the fight, such as a training injury or an illness...

Roach also claimed to have “spies” in the Mayweather camp that had told him the 38-year-old had missed three days of training last week. No such news has filtered out of the Mayweather inner circle, where information about their fighter’s training regimen and movements are closely guarded.

“I am not (making this up),” Roach added. “I know from people who were there. Word gets out and Vegas is a small place.”

After saying dumb **** like that, how could Manny pull out the event? The fake contracts were exposed, then Floyd did show up, and Koncz ****ed up the paperwork. Manny throws up both his hands in victory, and then less than one hour later, Team Pacquiao reveals an injury! This was a PR disaster!

have you seen that statement where Floyd said he trained harder in Berto fight than he did in Pac fight.

was Floyd dehydrated @146lbs against Berto?

Was Floyd overworked or as you put it overtrained in berto fight he should me more dehydrated this tie around.

          SHUT UP now

¿Injury? Thats a wierd injury cause before the fight NOTHING was ever said of an injury & days before the fight Pacs team was uplaoding videos of Pac hitting the heavybag & throwing 150 punches in 3 min, hitting the speedbag & Roach working the mitts had Pac throw 7 & 8 punch combinations & before the fight Pac checked "NO" on the release form that ask if he had any past or recent injurys on his hands, elbows or SHOULDER that could affect him in the fight & while he was fighting threw out the whole fight he never complained about his shoulder, was throwing punches very well with both arms & his corner NEVER asked him how his shoulder felt or if it was bothering him, yet they were demanding Pac to do more, to throw more punches. After the fight when he came with the story of an hurt shoulder(some say he claimed it was a torn rotator cuff that needed surgery), he refused treatment in the states & supposedly healed himself by GOING TO BEACH, YES WITH SEA WATER!!! That story on a hurt shoulder sounds more like a B U L L S H I T excuse..That night Pacs ONLY problem was the guy he was fighting(Floyd Mayweather Jr)

The Mayweather-Pac fight exposed what most knowledgeable boxing fan knew. Mayweather is in a class all by himself. He really toyed with Pacquiao's skillset.

It was a revelation. Like watching Olajuwon (Mayweather) schooled David Robinson in the 95 playoffs. A lot of people back then thought David Robinson was better if not equal to Hakeem. Olajuwon, like Mayweather put on one of the most lop sided show of skill and dominated Robinson (Pacquiao).

True Floyd set him into the trap, but Manny was hella disappointing. Talked all of that stuff about putting the Philippines on his shoulders and gets into a chess match. With all of that talk I sure as hell expected him to at least want to go out on his shield.

All the props to Floyd for not letting it happen.

Pacquiao was 100% physically and mentally going into the fight. And left the fight 5% mentally and psychologically. Floyd completely ruined a d exposed pacquiao as a fraud ass little POS. The sooner #48 leaves the sport the better.... He is terrible for boxing.
