Kassi won this fight. Easily won this fight but I guess this is what happens when there's a lot of money invested in a prospect that will never be champ unless he get a better trainer.

That's two in a row they have stole from kassi. I hope they paid him well

I thought the wrong guy won and a score of 100 to 90 is criminal. It seems like in some cases the judges just give fights to the guy the promoter has future plans for. I call him the designated winner. Kassi could have beat him almost to death and if Dominic was still standing he would still win. It's sad that boxing is sometimes like this. I thought Kassi won by a point or two. A draw would have been reasonable.

I scored the fight 5 rounds to 4, one round a draw for Kassi. Blatant robbery that should be investigated, one judge had Braezel winning every round. Some rounds were close but there was about 3 rounds that Kassi clearly won, and about 2 rounds that Braezel didn't even seem to land a punch. Lmao I thought for a second I was watching a Don King event.

The networks should announce the refs along with their address and phone number, and whether they have a tendency to be bought-and-paid-for. But seriously.... 100-90? If I knew the goofball refs name I'd contact the ASAC and b!tch. No excuses for that clap trap. Kassi was great in there, and Padded Record Brassiere looked like a clumsy oaf. Now you watch, Wilder will choose him for his next fight. SMH

So a close fight in your eyes with Breazeale winning by 1 round that one judge had a shutout isn't a controversy? People like you are part of the problem. It could have easily been a draw or gone in Kassi's favor. I had the fight 5-4 for Kassi with one round tied. I can understand Breazeale just edging Kassi but there's no way in hell he won more than 6 rounds. A clean sweep for Breazeale on 1 score card is ridiculous. Even the other 2 judges had it wrong with Kassi only winning 2 and 3 rounds on their respective score cards.
Even someone who thinks Breazeale won by 1 round like yourself should be annoyed that Kassi didn't get 1 round from the third judge. Just because the right guy won an admittedly close fight in your eyes doesn't mean a judge who doesn't give the loser a single round is somehow ok.

I had the exact same score card and I completely agree with everything you said. Even the usually bias PBC commentators were shocked by the scorecards. Aw well, it only means Breazeale will hit the deck hard when he fights a legitimate contender.
You have to give Breazeale a little bit of credit though, not for his performance in the ring but in the post-fight interview he knew he didn't really deserve the win and was lucky to get the nod from the bias judges. He's got a hell of a lot of work to do if he ever wants to go from prospect to legitimate contender.

I saw it as a close fight, could have went either way.

It seems that there is a minimum of one absurd judge's score in every fight lately. Go back and check the last 6 months of fights that have gone the distance and there is always one judge who seems to either be blind or totally unable to judge a fight with any competence. And this is not limited to PBC fights either, it has been seen at fights on HBO as well.

I think that any judge with such an obviously ridiculous score card should be removed from judging any fight for a minimum of one year and should undergo some kind of retraining and have to prove themselves capable before being allowed to judge a major fight again.
