Comments Thread For: Arum Tabs Khan as Top Target For Pacquiao's Return

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is working hard to secure Amir Khan for the 2016 return of Manny Pacquiao. Arum is looking to make this fight in the early part of next year in Las Vegas.

The two fighters were training mates for several years under Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California. Khan left Roach in 2012 and hired Virgil Hunter.

Khan had tried to secure a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the last two years. Mayweather retired after his September 12th victory over Andre Berto.

Man, **** Khan!! If Lucas beats Postol, I wanna see Manny fight him. Pacquioa vs Matthysse. Khan is a b1tch. I hope Al lets Danny put the beats on him again at 147. Set up a welterweight showdown with the winner of Thruman-Porter.

It looks like Amir Khan's days with Al Haymon are over; Especially if he defeats Manny Pacquiao. Arum would want to sign him to his roster or at the very least to a couple of future options for his next few fights.

Easy KO win against a big name for Pacquiao's return. And it shuts Khan up, at least for a little while. Great move by Top Rank.

Hope it gets made. Result will be Pacquaio-redemption or Khan-new-superstar.

Well, Pacman does need a comeback win. And Khan is all action. Either getting pasted or shoe shinning to victory.
