Likely? You ****in serious? If there's one glaring thing that Kovalev has over Ward it is definitely power. I'm not taking anything away from Ward, he's a fantastic boxer. But don't be ****** and leave any room for comparison about their power.
Ward's been fighting with one all-the-way-good shoulder since before the Olympics. Finally took the leap and cleaned out the shoulder. I believe before the camp for the Edwin Rodriguez fight. Got through the Rodriguez fight with no issues, pushed the action in the Paul Smith fight, and I haven't heard anything about shoulder issues for Ward.
You add that Ward is an orthodox lefty, and I still need to see him hit a guy dead on to gauge his power when all the way healthy. Kovalev is still likely the bigger puncher, but I'm keeping things open till I see otherwise from a healthy Ward.

like i post in another thread i only see ward steal 4 round max from kovalev, kova is just too big and technical
