If he rematches estrada then no he will lose. Estrada had to kill himself to make weight in the first fight

Looks like a freight train vs bee bee's out there.

#1 ring champ. 3 division champ lineal.

6 fights to tie the record. 7 to break it.
He has a great chance to do it. Of course, whether or not he gains Marciano's popularity is another story. He will need bigger names and more high profile fights for that.

No the record only counts for HW's. Guys like Chavez SR have already smashed it.

It's a non-issue, what boxing fan in their right minds truly care about the "record"??

It's a Heavyweight record set by a guy who isn't close to being the greatest heavyweight of all time!

In Floyd's case It's a TMZ record set by a guy who, if people really delve in to the history of the sport, is set by a guy who would struggle to crack the top 50 ATG list!

                    It is definitely a record.

Yes Chavez Sr went 87-0 or whatever it was, but he did not retire. The record is, which of those fighters that retired with a PERFECT record, retired with the most wins? That is the record. JCC did not retire with the perfect record, Lopez did not retire with a perfect record.

Marciano 49-0 is retiring with a perfect record.
Mayweather 49-0 is retiring with a perfect record.
Calzaghe 46-0 is retiring with a perfect record.

That IS a record, a specific one, but it is a record. So stop the myth that "That's not a record, it has been broken". Yes, there's been fighters i'm sure with 100-200 fights that surpassed 49-0 undefeated, with the help of a padded record, but they did not retire so their record in this category is null.

In Baseball, Basketball, Football, there's a record for almost everything. Especially baseball, baseball has such specific records like, most home runs by a player against a certain team. It's a record, it doesn't mean that the player has the most home runs of all time. There's stats like, best post-season batting average. Records are not black and white, it's the same with this one. It's a specific record for those who retired with perfect records, who had the most wins from those perfect record holders.
