Veteran trainer Ronnie Shields really likes the welterweight matchup between former champion Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan.

The fight is being discussed between Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, and key members of Khan's team.

Both sides are looking to make this fight for early 2016.

Like Khan so rightly said Floyd waited until Manny got old to fight him and now ole glas jaws in the que.
Khan never fights a live one , it's always someone old or coming off a loss .When he fought unbeaten fighters ,Garcia and Prescott both times he was knocked senseless.
Although on paper it's a ok fight the truth is Manny should test himself before fighting PPv again certainly PPv uk as last time with this hazy shoulder business the fans felt they were short changed and Khan has done nothing to warrant a ppv status apart from run from fighters ,hang around for fighters and irritate everyone but the most hardened taxi driver.
