For starerts, Bundu is a good, crafty fighter. Just because you've never heard of him or seen him fight, it doesn't mean he's a 'bum'. The guy is an Olympian and beaten some decent C level fighters as pro, Thurman was the first opportunity he had to prove himself at an elite level.

He's a very durable and crafty fighter, very good upper body and head movement, not easy to hit clean. You can't KO everyone, Thurman every round against maybe a lower top 15 guy. That's hardly a stick to beat him with.

Again, he beat the living **** outta Guerrero who had never been seriously hurt in his career until that night, some guys can just take a beating.

You've either set the standard very high for Thurman or just don't like the guy.
I watched Bundu vs Gavin live and although Bundu was impressive he's European level at best. Thurman should really have stopped him considering he hurt him in the first. Also, Guerrero was in a brutal war vs Kamegai just before facing Thurman and that takes a lot out of a fighter. I also feel that Errol Spence has a real good chance of beating Thurman now. He claims to have "given Thurman that work" in sparring and also is a VICIOUS body puncher.

I would say Bundu is a lower top 15 welterweight, better than guys like Guerrero and Rios for sure. Like I said he's a very crafty fighter and moves his head/upper body a lot, he's not easy to stop or someone you 'look good' against. I think too much is made of that fight.

I think Spence is the goods and has the right style to beat Thurman, I'd like to see him against a decent mover to see how he well he cuts off the ring. Going by the eye test though, if he has the heart and durability to cut it at this level, he's gonna be very hard to beat, cos his skillset is very good.

The sparring rumours aren't true btw, both have said they've never sparred. I don't know where the rumours came from.

Errol Spence posted it on his social media about a year ago but I agree with most of what you said apart from how highly you rate Bundu. He is nowhere near the levels of Rios or Guerrero imo. He fought most of his career in Italy against nobodies. Of course guys like that are difficult to look good against however that's about it, they don't pose a real threat of beating you.

I asked Spence on twitter, he said he's never sparred Keith. I remember there was a thread about it on here a few months ago, if you can find it, there's a link on there.

Rios just a tough guy for me, he has very little skill. If people are saying Bundu is C level then what is Rios? Rios' best win is Alvarado, I don't consider that much better than Gavin tbh lol. Bundu has only had 1 opportunity to prove himself, Rios has had many. Bundu can do everything Rios can, plus he's got pretty good defence.

Guerrero is better when he's at his best, but the way he's looked recently, no chance.

I dont know if Mayweather made Pacquiao looked washed up but if we're going to get that version of Manny against Thurman, I'd say Thurman wins by decision.

i dunno. the pac who tagged floyd a couple rounds, probably drops thurman.

floyd has a good chin and was skilled enough to keep pac away.

                    thurman is no floyd.

Thruman at the end of the night ends up with a worst lisp than he has now.
