Yeah I've always found GGG's jab and ability to cut off the ring more impressive than his actual power. He's probably going to have to box a lot more in this one than we're used to seeing. His jab and defense are going to be key.

Lemule hits hard and he throws that left hook often. Going to be interesting to see what happens when he lands. If we'll see GGG off of his feet for once.

Great undercard for this fight. I'm stoked. This and the Cotto/Canelo bout will make this year for me.

David puts too much on his shots though. And he doesn't set them up quite as good behind more probing punches. At one point in the NDam fight, he swung and missed his left hook so badly, his back was facing NDam. If he does something like that against GGG, it's lights out. But yeah the whole card is going to be awesome. Can't wait.

GGG will KO him in less than 4. If someone wants to bet on that, pm me.

Yeah David does tend to telegraph his shots because he loads up so much every time and letting himself get out of position will cost him badly in this one. GGG is willing to throw a bunch of soft shots to set up the harder ones and displays much more patience. Lemieux could learn a lot from him and should in this fight.

                    this plus Viloria-Gonzales? maaaaannn...fight party!
Me too, had two or three people asking about GGG on PPV. For the price, it's worth it, especially with Gonzalez on the card.

What Makes GGG Good is more than meets the Eye.

Maybe more boxing fans need a third eye. Most fighters can see it. Hence why the only guy people bring up to beat GGG is two weight classes above, and has been pegged a really great fighter. Ward would use that extra length and strength to hold GGG, and would still be in danger.

We all know about GGG's incredible power.. GGG can been seen to stalk his opponents. Walking at his opponents like they can't hurt him. But there is much more too his style that that.

He has a great counter jab.

Because GGG is a pressure fighter, he needs to have a goiod jab, and he does. Not so much powerful jab, although it is, it's the intelligent use of it both offensively and defensively that limits his opponents power and opens up the offense. GGG will cover his opponent’s lead hand as he throws his jab. So while he uses his jab, it is not always in an offensive manner. It just always looks like it, keeping his opponent from knowing what is coming.

The jab and shoulder often redirects his opponent's throws, either past his head or they hit with a fraction of the power. Making it look like he is getting hit.

GGG also uses a side-step, and subtle slips to angle off to his left or right, leading to devastating body shots or powerful uppercut. In doing so he takes himself a position that gives him the advantage to to deliver the powerful left hook, which often does his opponent in.

Ut is actually a remarkable display by GGG, who shows he has the ability to end a fight quickly, but can be adept defensively too. What may look like GGG being reckless and off-balance, is all part of a superb aggressive offense and defense. He does it while being completely calm and controlled.

Very exciting to watch. Especially when he brakes his opponent down slowly.

If GGG can pull together a string of these kinds of fights against quality fighters, big names like Cotto, Canelo, and then unify with Lee, he'll be one of the best fighters around now.

If he can do the same at 168, and eventually withstand Ward's size advantage and constant holding, GGG will be seen as a great.

Of course many haters will just claim Ward was past his prime.

im not saying GGG will become this fighter, or will be able to keep doing this, but I'm pulling for him, because he is fun to watch.
