Can not wait for this fight, both guys pack power and everything but if Rubio had the power to stop Lemieux than one clean hook from GGG seals the deal. I like both of these guys but GGG should take this one in impressive fashion, but I do love a good upset.

Lemieux was 12 years-old in boxing years when Rubio stopped him....kind of like Margarito's TKO of Sergio. Lemieux's much better now, obviously.

That said, I'm not picking him.

Margarito was also kinda green when he fought Sergio.

Much as I knock GGG for lack of opponents and quality, it would be a miracle for Lemieux to KO this dude.

I'd love to see a promoter predictions thread involving fighters their promoting.

People are underestimating Lemiuex. He was winning the Rubio fight before he gassed out going for the finish. Since then, he's improved leaps and bounds and has learned to pace himself a lot better. Lemiux is the hardest puncher GGG has faced and it will be interesting to see how GGG handles that kind of power. If Lemiuex manages to land something big early and hurt GGG, it can change the story of the fight entirely.

With that being said, I still think GGG puts him away in under 8 rounds, but I wouldn't be shocked if Lemiuex manages to pull off the upset.

Golovkin's jab is going to disrupt whatever offense David wants to set up.
