Hopefully this fight gets made. I must admit, I was/am skeptical about how much Ward wants it, due to his lack of activity, and his implications in the past that he see's the sport as like chess outside the ring. Meaning, to me, that he wouldn't fight the best prime dangerous fighters, like certain other recent fighters. Hopefully that's not the case and this fight gets made on an even playing field.

And then he doesn't fight anybody. Strange one that innit.Funny thing is that this criticism of Ward comes from hearsay and innuendo. Never has Ward been on camera saying he wants more money to fight this guy or that he deserves a certain amount to fight that guy. Twitter rumors and message board BS is the source of those lies. Ward obviously wants fair compensation for his work, but you guys sound idiotic saying that Ward is ducking fights due to financial reasons. He has never once mentioned this. He always says that he is ready and willing to fight anybody. He's not out and about shoving the money issue down anyone's throat. You just pretend that's the case.Comment

You were going well until you went the "idiotic" route. I mean seriously how hard is it to make a counter point without taking personal shots? Did I say Ward was ducking? How hard is it to discern that the only people who are going to give him everything he wants are guys who need the check and have no leverage on him. But go on...keep talking all that salty shhh. I could honestly give two fk's about ward, his pockets, or his standing, or those who think the entire world is against him.Funny thing is that this criticism of Ward comes from hearsay and innuendo. What division is that ... 168 or 172?
At 168, he hasn't fought DeGale, Groves, Jack, either of the Dirrell bros, or anybody except Abraham.
172 is a bit sparse, but he hasn't fought either Fonfara or Chavez Jr.Comment

I think he was talking about 164. The division Golovkin invented to hide from Ward.Comment

Like I said, Roc and Duva might be talking about Ward/Kovalev. But Andre isn't. And he didn't seem to happy about "critics" wanting him to move up in this video.
