Carl Froch got it right when he said that Ward couldn't make 168 any more. He won't admit it though, because then there would be no reason for him not to take fights with the likes of Yuniesky Gonzales, Beterbiev, or Kovalev, which is what Roc and HBO are trying to make him do now.

this is how ****ty bumlovkin's resume is.. ward can have 10 tune up fights in a row and his resume would be on the same level as bumlovkin.. the last people who should be criticizing resumes and opponents are ggg groupies.. these people have no right to bash ANY resume. .bumlovkin is 33 years old, biggest win is murray.. lol.. remove abraham, froch and kessler from ward's resume and he still is more accomplished.

There's considerable myopia in this post of yours.

1) Firstly , GGG has every right to stay in his division , but he shouldn't of sold everyone the hot wolf ticket that he'd fight anyone from 154-168 , if his plans were to stay put.

2) Secondly , u can't say you want Froch and anyone else at 168 but ward.

3) Thirdly , Ward cleaned out a very talented division ( a laudable feat ) of which Calzaghe never did.

4) Lastly , Ward vs Kov talk only started this year and your already hastily implying Wards not gonna fight him . GGG stated he'd fight anyone from 154-168 three and a half years ago and still ducking Ward.

So if anyone's the new Joe Calzaghe it's GGG

We were talking about what Ward could do next, not what he did 4 years ago.

Fact is, Ward hasn't fought any of the current top 10 SMW's except Abraham. And if he can't make 168 any more, which looks to be the case, then there are PLENTY of good opponents waiting for him at 175.

GGG, btw, has fought 7 top 10 ranked opponents in the last 4 years, and tried to make fights with many others.

Go Call ya hommie Go-Lov-him , tell him to man up and put on his big boy trousers , then you'll get a chance to see how fast Ward can make 168 . U know its getting really bad for GGG fans when y'all deplete yourselves of excuses for GGG , so u start making excuses for Ward instead , lmao !
