We all saw what happened when Cotto himself was asked about a GGG fight. He acted like he forgot English like Sammy Sosa in front of congress.
HBO forced him to take the Canelo fight or he would still be ducking ginger. No way he wants anything to do with GGG.

Canelo up first, then a fight with Golovkin (if it does happen) would be a hell of a way to finish out a career. I really don't understand how some boxing fans cannot be a fan of Miguel Cotto. The guy has been giving us the fights fans have been wanting his entire career. He may make some moves that rub some folks the wrong way, but it's a part of the game.

As much as I would like for Cotto to fight GGG, I just hope Cotto's team is completely focus on training for Canelo. I just re-watched some of Canelo's recent fights and as a Cotto fan I have to say that Canelo is a very good and disciplined young fighter. Those who keep saying that Canelo is not a pressure fighter better go back and check out some of his previous fights, he can apply pressure when he has to. He is very consistent in his attack through out a fight. IMO the Cotto / Canelo fight will be a nail biter for us Cotto fans.
