Maidana is just too small to be effective at 154 with the bigger gloves.

Maidana will get massacred at 154.

You guys are delusional thinking he has any future there.

Hmmm, not a good idea. The guys at 154 are too big for him. He's not exactly on the big side even at 147, so 154 would be too much, particularly if his stamina, power, balance and sharpness are a little off because of extra weight from getting fat and lazy.

If that was the case, theyre better off just making an event with Maidana shadow boxing for 12 rds...that would be a better main event than Lara

I rather he stay at 147 since that's where all the big fights are.

As others have already stated, Chino's to small, he'll get killed at JMW. WW is where he belongs.

                This.

Now that Floyd has retired, no one at 147 beats him. No one. All my points and real money on that.

Maidana is not all that. He's good but not great. I think Pac even at this point kicks his ass.

He's not flawless or unbeatable but none aside from Floyd in that dichas the tools to beat him. Pac at this stage would get mauled and stopped badly. He would probably be ahead on the scorcards by points but Pac wouldn't fase Maidana whereas Maidana would hurt Pac badly early on. It would end like Cotto/Margarito I but earlier.

Pac would surprisingly put on a hell of a show against Maidana.

                      Garcia beats Maidana.

I think Algieri could fight for a decision, he's gritty as hell and has the physical tools and it's not like he will outspeed him like Khan did with natural speed.

Maidana does have some deceptive speed at times
