According to multiple outlets in Argentina, there is a good possibility that Marcos "El Chino" Maidana (35-5, 31KOs) will return in 2016 at the junior middleweight limit of 154-pounds.

Maidana has been out of the ring since facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a rematch last September in Las Vegas. He made a lot of money last year, in facing Mayweather twice on Showtime Pay-Per-View.

Damn Chino aint never scared, and He would be able to win some meaniful figths theirs but at the very end he is too small for 154. You need to fill out into a weight class not move their cause you got too fat lol.

Well - this might be what is needed to get him back to the gym. Convince his fat ass that he won't have to do that much at first....once he gets there, lock the door and force him to work out and try to get him back down to WW in two phases.

because I can't really think of any 154 PBC fights for him that I'm all that interested in. Of course Canelo, Margarito, Cotto would be good but Maidana against some rising 154 guy is not what I hoped to see. Am I missing an obvious 154 PBC opponent outside of someone like Angulo?

edit: oh yeah, Roberto Garcia is also fat, probably now JMWish, and beatable as a comeback
