Maybe it's funny if you actually watch the video cause reading it sounds corny.

So then why doesn't Haymon bring an offer to HBO, let HBO decide if they want to accept it? HBO has first rights on Kovalev- if they don't want to pay the money, Al's free to move it off to the PBC.

It doesn't matter how you spin it, that fact cannot be ignored.

All of Haymon's fighters used to sign exclusive deals with HBO - Berto, Williams, oh yeah Mayweather. These days they sign exclusive deals with Al Haymon which is why Quillin dropped his belt rather than be allowed to fight on HBO and why Wilder will drop his rather than face Povetkin. Bermane Stiverne was just pulled out of an HBO fight due to Haymon.

Wouldn't complain about that, but I'd like to see Betebiev given more time.

What that GYM/Haymon moved up the purse bid to kill the chance the fight might happen or the fact that Haymon won't make an offer to HBO?

                    Apologies, I meant TV networks.

You have to sign an exclusive deal with a promoter/manager.

                    Fcuk exclusive TV deals.

Further fragmentation is NOT what boxing needs.

Win the purse bid, and everything falls into place.

It has always been that way.

Why the fcuk should Haymon make an offer to HBO, when their exclusive fighter ducked a purse bid?

That is like having your house auctioned, learning about an interested party...... and then pulling your house from the auction before bidding ends, and then telling the interested party that they must make an exclusive offer.

                      Fcuk exclusive TV deals.
