I saw a few posts saying that GGG made a mistake by choosing to fight Monroe due to his speed and "slickness". Monroe did pretty good but that superhuman strength started to get to him.

To be fair, I recall reading the same type of comments.

I didn't know much about Monroe, other than he is another Boone victim, so I assumed that I might be sleeping on him.

Both fighters are facing their biggest challenge by far. Write Lemeiux off all you want, won't change facts. He has power GGG has never seen before. Granted, that goes both ways, but I still give Lemieux a decent chance. Not great odds, but he can surprise anyone. I think it's kinda daft writing Lemieux off as some nobody with lame skills.

I give lemieux some credit for taking this fight, he could have camp the belt in canada and defend it against boyband or cab drivers but he is taking on the best MW in his division, shame he would be out of there within 4 rounds.

lemieux can **** but he is a wee lad compared to gennady. i hope i am wrong because i want to see back and forth action. i want to see ggg tested and taken down to deep waters.

but unlike david, gennady has an iron chin. he seemed to be toying with monroe in the last fight and i believe this fight will not last long.
