I think the way you judge is resume is the right way. Unfortunately we are on NSB where posters make a resume who you didn't fight and denigrating those who were defeated. Gets boring after a while.

Floyd's resume makes him a 1st ballot HOF'er. Any criticisms of it automatically weakens the resume of all other active boxers as he is one of the very few with a 1st ballot HOF resume.

Both were WBA Super world Super-weight champions.

But Ottke defended his Super world Super-MW title more often than Floyd defended the Super world Super-WW title. So Ottke clearly has the better record.

******, abstract and unproveable. I will remember these terms for the future.

I am thinking for myself. If you want to say Manny was not prime-we agree. If you want to retroactively over exaggerate how far he was from prime and join the pack of Spoon23, pac boy, ADOP2, MisanthropicnY, etc., be my guest.

Manny went from live dog before the fight to dead dog after it in the minds of those that picked him to win.

P4p is an abstract, unprovable, ranking system. Do you have any education? Nothing about it can be proven because most of the fighters on it don't fight one another or their contemporaries. Having a conversation about hypothetical fights doesn't make it valid just because the boxing world says so.
