I'm sure you will get a few dipsh-ts to respond to this as this is NSB.

As to my post, I think ottke and calzaghe have similar resumes, what say you?
who on floyd's resume is better than calzaghe's hopkins win?

I wasn't being serious but you can't go the prime route because Floyd didn't really fight anyone great in their prime, just like Calzaghe. Was Pac prime? Was DLH?

You guys give more credit to Floyd beating someone that already lost before and even if they lost worse.

Haha so what was pacquaio when Floyd beat him? Hopkins had better wins, before and after he lost to joe, than pacquaio did leading to the Floyd fight. He also wasn't ktfo.

they're unbelievably insecure. If they truly believed Floyd was the best they wouldn't act this way.

Manny and ODH both controlled when they fought Floyd. Had they made different choices, they both would have fought Floyd when they were closer to "prime". Holding this against Floyd is like holding not fighting Bowe against Lennox or Martinez against GGG.

Since you weren't being serious, We can stop here. But I aminterested in who you think had a better resume-ottke or Calzaghe.

I agree that Roy Jones was totally washed by that time but Hopkins was a solid win. Not better than everything on Floyd's resume level, but a good win.

Many think it wasn't a win at all. I'm cool with this, it was a good win.

When I assess a fighters resume I usually do not factor in why the fights happened when they did. The bottom line for me is who did this person fight, when did they fight, and how did they perform.

I don't care for instance why Lennox Lewis fought Mike Tyson when he did, all I know is he fought super washed up Tyson so I can't make much out of that performance. That might not be Lewis's fault, but that doesn't mean I should give him any more credit than the fight actually warrants.
