The way Canelo took apart Kirkland who tried to pull Canelo into a war, all these Cotto fans will have this excuse that Cotto was too small, had too many wars, was past his prime.... The bottom line is Canelo has gotten better more mature with every fight, is going to make a statement and stop Cotto late in their fight.

You're right that Canelo has matured and is a much better fighter than he was just a couple of years ago...but are you comparing Kirkland to Cotto? If Cotto fought Canelo like Kirkland did, Canelo would knock him out quick. Cotto's not an idiot, though.

Cotto's "boxing and moving" won't be like Lara's or Trout's. I think Cotto will use angles and movement, but he'll throw with more authority than either Trout or Lara.
