    Did you see Judah/Malignaggi? Opinion...

This fight bothers me to this day, especially with Judah talking about facing Pacquiao.

The so called "Battle for Brooklyn" went totally wrong.

I had Judah literally destroying Paulie for two rounds. Then he went Oli McCall, totally inactive, doing nothing against a feather fisted Paulie, allowing him to tag him with shots he should never have gotten hit with.

This is a guy (Paulie) who got starched by Shawn Porter and embarrassed by Danny Garcia, dominating a guy (Judah) who almost beat Lucas Matthysse.

I'm not saying Judah is some amazing fighter, but Paulie's heart is really all he has.

I'm convinced Judah threw that fight, to give Paulie a win, whether that's Al Haymon or whatever.

    Thoughts?

I think "destroying" is a bit much, but it was typical Zab Judah. He has like 9 losses on his record and maybe 6 of them are due to him not letting his hands go. He was beating Mayweather too early in their fight but when Mayweather tuned in and got going, Judah's offense went away. In the Cotto fight, he literally rocked Cotto every time he hit him with a left hand, but it was only once every 3-4 rounds or so. He comes out quick, but when he sees he can't rid of the other guy and they start throwing back, Judah starts worrying about Judah and he stops throwing. He's always done that.

I see your point. Judah himself said it was due to Paulies herky jerky movement which caused him not get his timing together.

Judah hasn't been able to pull the trigger in years, waits for the perfect shot, paulie didn't give it to him.

Paulie also has sparred Judah in the past, knew exactly what he needed to do to win.

I thought Judah's excuse was that he was sick or something
