Then DiBella is the problem, too. No one wants to see someone--especially their own countryman (if you give a crap about that sort of thing) win the heavyweight title then go bumfights. What's the point of us watching you defend the title against that? If you're the champ you should be fighting 1, 2, or 3's. Ridiculous what the promo's and advisors have turned boxing into.

In order to stay that active per year, you're not going to face world beaters in every match.- Dibella

Are anything in Dibella's statement inaccurate?

Dibella is considered the most hypocritical man in boxing for a reason.

Haymon needs Dibella and Dibella needs Haymon. Of course he's going to defend anything that sheds bad light on Haymon and/or any of his fighters.

I just call 'em as I see 'em. I'll keep on doing it after Wilder defeats Sasha and until he displays he's a bust.

                Why Wilder is for real:

You can't teach 6-7, 84" reach with his speed and lightness on his feet. His measurables are absolutely elite for a modern HW

He works hard. He's always in terrific shape and doesn't gas.

He is active. He fights 3-4 times a year.

He is busy. He always outworks his opponent, often doubling up his opponent's punch totals.

You can't teach that power or killer instinct. You either want to and have the capacity to KO people or you don't.

He has an elite trainer and always improves. Anyone who saw him against Stiverne and at the beginning of his career knows how far he's come.

Go ahead and hate if you want, but we'll laugh at you as he banks millions and destroys the division

He has a weak claim on an Ad Hoc title, and it looks like Wilder's own people have no faith in him. These "defences" have to be explained instead of hyped. Apologies instead of praise for the challenger. Fishing for sympathy on his "work in progress". Why not kick Povetkin's butt and get it over with? Our champion, the rest of the world thinks Wlad is the champion, doesn't seem ready for the task.

I agree. Why should we ever expect anyone to fight good competition ever when they can collect easy pay checks for as long as possible...bravo Dibella, you and Paulie should get a room and jerk each other off to a picture of Al Haymon...

"Defended" against who? Some posters on NSB? Who cares. He'll fight Povetkin eventually and win and the haters will still come here to whine. Doesn't matter..
