Wilder can't choose another pushover next fight, he HAS to fight Povetkin or Klitschko (which I won't be surprised if he does, losing to klitschko is an honor, losing to a much shorter heavyweight is embarrassing lol) even though I think Wilder can handle povetkin

100% true. I don't know how Haymon manages to pay these guys so much better than what they got before, but can it possibly last? I mean, I'm glad that people in the boxing world are making good money, but it shouldn't come as a detriment to the sport. Guys are getting a million + to fight unranked no-hopers, and it's sickening. But these guys who used to tell it like it is are now peddling whatever nonsense they have to to appease their sugar daddy. They traded away their dignity for money.

A good champion defends his title against guys ranked in the top 10 or at the very least in the top 15. This is Wilder's 2nd title defense. The first guy he defended against was ranked 31st in the world. The guy he fights next is ranked 32nd in the world. So far Wilder has been a poor champion and deserves to be criticized. If he starts defending against top 10 world rated heavyweights he will be praised.
