I wouldn't say ruined, but Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse haven't looked great after their match.

Cotto vs Margarito. Cotto was obviously not the same after that match, and Margarito looked like absolute dog crap in his following fights.

Martinez vs Chavez Jr. Martinez suffered a terrible knee injury after that fight, and Chavez's career has gone absolutely nowhere since then.

Lucas looked better against Provodnikov, but Postol will give a better idea about where he is. You're right that both guys have looked worse since. Despite winning fairly easily, I was surprised at the problems Garcia had landing on Malignaggi. And of course I can't imagine Matthysse going down twice against freaking John Molina before the Garcia fight.
