What people don't realize about Duhaupas is since April 10 he fought 33 rounds against teper, charr & wilder. In 5.5 months that is a pretty tough schedule... Who else in the division has fought 3 top 20 guys in that short of a stretch...

The fight actually entertained me, go figure. Wilder showed some good stuff, has some stuff to work on. I still think he beats Povetkin, but if he gets sloppy enough, he might get cracked with something.

He gave Wilder a second wind and came straight into him...I don't see Wilder going very far when he steps up.

Great heart and good stoppage, could have even been a bit earlier for my tastes.
Life and death? He won all but maybe one round lol

Wilder showed a lot of new things. He's improved a lot. He can vary his attack and mix it up a bit. He will need that to beat guys like Povetkin.

Well I learned Wilder can actually throw punches on the inside.

Here is a WBC belt-holder fighting someone who not even ranked in top 20 fo two consecutive bouts.

So some here are praising Wilder for a fight that is on the level of a stepping-up for prospects.
                Trinkets don't really mean anything~

It is about improving as a fighter and being the best you can be.

That would be the proper context.

He did not fight a top caliber guy but he showed improvement in a lot of areas. If you can't see that, you are hopeless!
