Margarito was always entertaining. One of my favorite boxers.The ref stopped Margarito, not Cotto. After the fight Cotto was acting like he knocked Margarito out cold. Cotto was just targeting the eye so they would stop the fight. Margarito was laughing afterwards saying Cotto punches like a little girl.

Not sure he should come back, I imagine even in sparring he runs the risk of having his eye hurt again. He's not the type of fighter to avoid punches and I don't want to see anyone permanently injured, well, more-so than he already is!

Regardless how well he puts himself back together- his eye is not going to hold up against anybody. In 2015 Paulie Malignaggi (who otherwise can't bust a g****) could probably beat him on a stoppage by working over that busted peeper.

If he's coming back he needs to go straight for a big fight with Canelo or finish Cotto trilogy, wont be worth the damage otherwise.
