well the same punches that transformed cotto's face left only minor bruises in the rematch. you gotta be some special kind of ****** to need more proof than that.

Margarito was always entertaining. One of my favorite boxers.The ref stopped Margarito, not Cotto. After the fight Cotto was acting like he knocked Margarito out cold. Cotto was just targeting the eye so they would stop the fight. Margarito was laughing afterwards saying Cotto punches like a little girl.

The first fight was only stopped because Margarito's plaster-infused hands scored a lucky 1-punch breakage of Cotto's nose. He was literally swallowing blood and couldn't breath.

Up to that point, Cotto boxed Margarito's face off. He did it again in the 2nd fight, only with more of a stamp on it, and surprise! Margarito suddenly couldn't hurt Cotto. Cotto was always the superior fighter to Marg, but they certainly gave us two entertaining fights.

well lets do it already. i would love to see this guy fight again. im sure its been mentioned but maidana. or maybe the loser of cotto canelo. there are so many options. the one thing that worries me tho is his eye is it ok now? also his style hes going to be taking a beating even in a win which is worrisome but hey if he wants to do it who are we to tell him he shouldnt. Hopefully he is down to take a warm up bout against an overmatched type opponent.

i'm a huge margo fan, but lets be honest he was not more important that figthing baldomir or oscar...like it or not baldomir held 3 out of 4 WW belts at the time basically and was unbeaten 8 years...oscar who was margo boss as a sparring parterner was ppv king was bigger at a new division to be champion and p4p king...and we all know wat happened after the oscar fight...MARGO LOST...u cant ask floyd to win for himself and you too...and to add insult to injury the person he lost to lost his belt in his first defense...and both guys get called "THE GUYS FLOYD DUCKED"...THERE IS NO FIGHTER IN HISTORY or today that we would say that about especially knowing that floyd went on to fight higher ranked p4p undefeated fighters that ppl had been telling him he was ducking..

i hate when fans spread misinformation...idc wat fighters its about, but how sucky must your life be to latch on to something that is disproved time and time again??

if boxing was an honest sport this guy would be called out for losign to williams..bc that is not floyd fault but his...and williams would be called out for not rematching him after a tought spot...but none of these guys have threatened your thoughts of the top 5 fighters ever like floyd...so the get passes and little "take these with you" prizes that mean absolutely nothing

I don't like Margarito much, but he was ducked by Floyd no matter how you try to slice it. Baldo may have had more belts but Margarito was a champion at the time and he brought in more money for Floyd. As much as Floyd loves money, when does he ever turn down a bigger paycheck? And don't say Baldo got him more money because that is simply not true. Floyd was offered 8mil to fight margarito plus a huge upside on PPV but he instead fought Baldo for 8mil plus one dollar to rationalize taking the Baldo fight instead. The PPV vs Margarito would have been a WAY bigger sell than him and Baldo and therefore WAY more money for Floyd. So for him to turn down the bigger money only says one thing to me. DUCK
