Comments Thread For: Bradley: Teddy Atlas Knows He Can Help Me Get Better

WBO welterweight champion Tim "Desert Storm" Bradley was recently in Las Vegas to call the action on Friday's truTV Metro PCS Friday Night Knockout card at the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino.

Bradley made more than his fair share of headlines when he parted ways with longtime trainer Joel Diaz and replaced him with tough as nail coach and ESPN commentator, Teddy Atlas.

Teddy will be sure to remind him of his family in-between rounds lol

    I like the marriage.

I often wonder how good Canelo would be if he switched to a more seasoned trainer.

Atlas is a terrible overrated trainer

I remember when he ditched Povetkin's camp because he had to film an episode of FNF

Teddy Atlas is the truth. I am looking forward to seeing what he does with Bradley. Bradley vs Rios should be a very nice scrap.

The way I heard it was that Teddy was upfront with Alex, telling him that he'll train him but Teddy's also got an ESPN gig so he can't train Alex in Russia, and for whatever reason Povetkin's handlers didn't want Teddy to train Alex so they refused to train in America, breaking relations with Atlas.

Totally! Bradley should have hired you, what with all your knowledge and experience.

Actually, Povetkin ditched Atlas when he refused to train in America as they had previously agreed upon.

Tim is going to put on a clinic, like he should. Hit and not get hit, work the body, counter the mistakes and get out of the way. 10-2, Bradley

I believe he pulled a handgun on Tyson and threatened to shoot him because he found out that Tyson robbed this old lady in an elevator or something. Said he'd kill Tyson if he ever found out he did something like that again.
