who is a bigger star: Canelo Alvarez or Conor McGregor

Like another said - Canelo has definitely made more cheese, and has had higher purses (after PPV revenue)... But I wonder who has headlined bigger PPV's in regards of buys? Excluding Canelo/Floyd, cause Floyd obviously counted for that.

But let's analyze McGregor/Mendes, and Canelo/Angulo;Canelo/Lara.


NOTE: McGregor's PPV he headlined with Mendes did around ONE MILLION!


So I think McGregor is bigger on the world stage in regards to name-recognition.

Not sure what's more laughable, people comparing the star power of both of these fighters, or people actually calling Canelo a superstar.

Camelo wins the comparison by default since boxing is a more popular sport, but both are overrated hype jobs.
