I think some of you only look at sports stars from an American perspective. I dunno how big Connor is over in the States but unless you're a combat sports/UFC fan over here in the UK, no one knows him. He doesn't get reported on or anything. Heck, I've seen more news on Rousey in the sports pages than I have on Connor.
The only time I saw some news on him was when he was being a **** in the build up to his last fight. That's it.
Same goes for Canelo, only boxing fans know him and there's been almost no talk of Canelo/Cotto. In fact, unless your May, Pac, Khan or Joshua, boxing doesn't get mentioned in the british sports papers or news reports. Unless its skysports cos they promote the hearn product.
So on a global, non-American scale, neither guy is known.Comment

Both are ginger too lol...No but on a serious note...Canelo is earning huge amounts of money, didn't he earn 10 million dollars against floyd? Connor McGregor only just earned like 2 million for his fight with Mendez, i think against Aldo he will get 3 or 4 million.Comment
