Amir Khan was never a brawler, he's a boxer, who sometimes gets overly brave and turns into a brawler, similar to Tim Bradley, only Khan doesnt have the chin to take such risks...and even if he did have the chin, the shots he gets hit with would brake the strongest chin.

Spence isnt a boxer, he's a tall, rangy guy who fights on the inside and gets hit far too much for my liking..

He will be knocked out soon enough, when he comes up against someone who will test his jaw...

Thurman looked like a beast when he was coming up, but soon as he stepped up the level, he is realizing boxers don't go down as easy anymore...It will be the same for Spence...

Thurman has shown he has different levels, he can fight on the backfoot and on the front foot...We have only seen one gear from Spence, it would be foolish to throw him in the ring with someone who has been fighting at a higher level...

Spence fights like Berto and stands in one place like Broner..Spence is no Floyd...Another overhyped African American fighter...who will be lucky to win a world title or make $60 million like Khan

All i see is a guy who fights with his chin up in the air, there is no art to his work, he rushes in and fights like a brawler

He's very easy to hit, i think he will be knocked out sooner or later

I can see Spence breaking onto the world stage in a year, people seem to be looking at his age in terms of judging where he needs to be but hes not even been pro for three years yet and being in one of the most loaded divisions talent wise he needs to be moved gradually.

I agree with Garcia and Thurman that Spence needs to earn his shot however it's hard to get a win over a top ten guy when they all seem to be avoiding you like the plague. I didn't agree with lomo getting a title shot in his 2nd official pro fight (I'm not counting wsb) and I'm won't cosign Spence getting a shot he didn't earn. With that being said I think he can beat Thurman and Garcia right now. I think he will be the next king at 147 as long as he can make weight.
Look I've been watching boxing for over 30 years and you just know when you see fighter that's going to be great. Spence is that fighter. I just hope he can get the fights to prove it. Haymon can make the offer but he can't make the the guys fight Spence.

What top 10 guy should he fight in order to prove he deserves the big fights? None of the top 10 guys are willing to fight him. Save Ghost & Collazo, Thurman's resume aint much better.

I've been curious and wondering after Floyd retires who all the Floyd haters would turn their attentions to - reading all the posts responding to this article my question has been answered. NOT only Thurman but also Garcia have their attentions been deawn to.

BOTH undefeated it looks like people hate that on these firums. MARK my words Thurman will dominate the division now Floyd has retired and with that the Floyd haters will try and discredit him as they dud against Floyd himself but I'm sure Keith won't have any sleepless nights regarding these trolls on here who are just vindictive people.
