I'm not convinced Pacquiao can still hold a shot, at least not a Matthysse shot.

Pac's chin is definitely vulnerable at 147. But I don't think Matthysse could finish Pac, and I don't think he could smoke him with one shot. He would be tentative against Pac as he is against most boxers, and even though he's a solid boxer Pac is still fast enough to outland him in most rounds.

Pacquiao vs Matthysse in 2016!! Only fight I wanna see Manny in to be honest. And I hope Lucas gets his shot. He deserves it and could possibly finish off whatever is left of Pac.

I'm not as sure, Pacquiao hasn't fought a puncher since the Marquez KO. Rios is the closest thing but obviously Matthysse with his 83% KO record hits much harder than Rios.

I read Oscar was hoping for Matthysse-Postol to be for the Ring belt.

It would be fair enough imo because he has already KO'd the #2 Peterson and defeated the #3 Provodnikov.

I think most people agree that it would be fully deserved.

Pacquiao Matthysse is 50/50 imo, I can very possibly see Pacquiao winning a decision (I have Pacquiao as the best WW now Floyd is gone) or I see Mathysse's damaging shots winning him the fight.
