Crawford is the most likely foe, he is top rank and the future investment of hbo, i mean look he won fighter of the year and i thought there were more deserving fighters. They are really trying to push crawford. Pacquiao will be that stepping stone for him, once he knocks out pac a new star has been passed the torch.

Lucas is a very bad choice, he is the best boxer puncher combo of the argentine fighters and he has an iron chin, if rudlan couldnt knock him down and ruslan hits harder than manny, how can manny hurt him? Also lucas grazing shots are powerful he can knock pac out cold, and that fight only benefits goldenboy, unless arum can make oscar give him options on mattysse.

In theory, remember they already tried this with Bradley. I'm not convinced Crawford is better than even the current version of Bradley.

A Matthysse fight is high-risk, low-reward for Top Rank. Options don't make much sense because Pacquiao is the much bigger draw. The likes of Khan, and as you say Crawford make far more sense for TR/Pac.

Aye, Crawford sucks, a fight with him between Pacquiao will be boring as sht as he tries his darnest to make the fight as boring as humanly possible. Don't know if he wins, but people love to give rounds to the boring **** who's "looking" intelligent but really just fighting negatively.

As far as top rank goes, I think they make Mattysse go through Bradley before they give him Crawford or Pacquiao.

We also don't know how long top rank has Pacquiao for, and since the Floyd fight, at least to me, they've seemed like they are worried he's ready to leave them.

I read Oscar was hoping for Matthysse-Postol to be for the Ring belt.

It would be fair enough imo because he has already KO'd the #2 Peterson and defeated the #3 Provodnikov.

You are going to have to take SERIOUS leather before you accomplish that. Bottom line is, Manny can KO Crawford, Lucas, Khan, and Roidquez. He is smarter than ever in the ring. His timing, counter punching, speed, power, and defense are STILL intact until further notice. Bring on any of them and it'll be a great PPV Fight. All of these potential opponent's are more exciting than Floyd. FACT.

honestly don't see what people brag about with crawford.. why is he so special. .mattysse will not knock pacquiao out, i doubt that power will carry over into welterweight, even if it does, he's too damn slow to catch manny, he'll be another brandon rios. .what the hell does marquez have left at this point? i don't wanna see that sht, the last image of that rivalry should be pacquiao dead on the canvas, juan shouldn't ruin that. . khan is the most skilled out of this bunch, yeah i know all about his chin, but he has the hand speed to match manny.

but pac gains nothing beating any of these guys, his legacy is already established as the second best of his generation, none of these opponents will change that.
