Even if Canelo cant make 154 limit anymore, Oscar made some moves this yr with the David Lemieux and Tureno Johnson signings that give Canelo some opponents for next yr and can always rematch Cotto too. Canelo aint ****** once he beats Cotto next yr he'll be crown the new PPV King no reason to loose that just to fight Golovkin. if #G wants Canelo he'll have to wait just like hes mking Ward wait.

To all the 3G fans on here who refuse to admit that Golovkin wants no part of Ward. Please, don't jump on Canelo next yr when he ducks 3G... Just like Loeffler knows Golovkin will loose to Ward, Oscar knows Canelo doesn't have a shot against Golovkin at this point in his career and will protect him just like K2 is protecting their golden goose 3G... I see Canelo relinquishing the WBC middleweight belt and returning to the JR middleweight division.

And GGG while interested in a big money fight, is more interested in the WBC belt himself, and his promoter has already admitted it. They're gonna force the winner to either fight him or vacate. This is ultimately the big difference between GGG going after Cotto/Canelo and Ward going after GGG. Even if Golovkin doesn't fight either guy, there is something else in it for him, which is the WBC belt.

What does the P4P # 2 best fighter get for beating GGG? Unless he wants his WBA Middleweight Title, there is nothing in it for him. And according to a previous posters admission, GGG hasn't beaten anybody. Why is he actively pursuing a a Paper Champ who hasn't beaten anybody, and apparently isn't even the A-side.

Unfortunately Ggg is the long overdue mando. Maybe he'd take an expensive stepaside one time, but its coming up due next year either way. If Canelo drops it just to avoid Ggg, he'll lose a lot of cred back home.
