It might do 350-400k in ppv buys, but Ward has still beaten the BETTER fighters and would the marquee name on the banner so 50/50 is fair imo..maybe 55/45 in Wards favor.

read the rules. it's illegal. holding and tying up is the same thing but you are playing a semantics game. why were akwindade and other fighters dq'd if it's just a strategy? they were dq'd becaus it's illegal. unfortunately you have been conditioned to believe its just part of boxing because most of the time the cheaters get away with it.

I agree with the bold... i stated my opinion.. im still going to think Wards the A side of the equation until GGG beats a fighter like Canelo or Cotto.. Lemiuex really is GGG's best opponent of his career..We'll see what happens..

Secondly, if GGG hasn't beaten anybody (which I agree with, he is not even the REAL Middleweight Champ yet), then what is Ward's reasoning for pursuing a GGG fight? Why is the P4P#2 best fighter in the world, and lineal 168 Champion going after a Paper Champion at 160? Doesn't make any sense now does it?

Now if he is doing it for the money, then he must know that GGG brings in the big Bucks, which means you're admitting that GGG is the A-side and therefore deserves the lions share of the money.

Damn you're dumb. Chavez and Froch would have been the A side vs GGG or Ward at the time, maybe GGG has eclipsed them now. Ward was practically begging for a Chavez fight. Froch in addition to being huge in the UK would have been a great scalp for GGG, and a huge fight all around.

The winner of Cotto vs Canelo will be rated above GGG in all the respectable MW ratings. GGG needs to make that right, and in the process get huge money and exposure. I agree Cotto is not a real MW, then he should have dropped the belt. Canelo is heavier than GGG fight night, no excuses if he's carrying the MW belt
