Mayweather is the TBE and for a reason. First up is smarter than all the idiots commenting on him :-) almost fun to see the dumb asses who talk bad about him. Great job Mayweather and a huge privilege to see your awesome boxing skills. To me watching the old blogs Marciano, Ali etc is like going back in time and going back in skills. Time makes athletes better but memories never change. Some hard core fans hold on to their memories and nothing can beat that. Perhaps what it should be .. but never doubt a superstar like Mayweather to be part of all future discussions as the TBE !!

All the above are the reason why it is ****** to criticize the Ortiz fight. There's a reason why GGG is tryna unify middleweight and belts are also the reason why everybody wants Adonis Stevenson and Kovalev to unify, same with Klitschko and Wilder. Nobody was talking bwt Wilder vs Klitschko before Wilder got the wbc belt.

Hindsight logic is crap because it turns people into idiots and hypocrits. Bet if Floyd had rejected the Maidana and Ortiz fights people would have called him a ducker of champions since they were both world champions, and they'd discredit his status as ppv king and p4p king because of that.
Ortiz was the wbc champ and you last I check Guerrero was barely in the welterweight division when he got his shot at Floyd which was bs because he didn't have any reason to be in there except for him beating berto. And he didn't even get 1 million buys for that first fight with showtime.. His biggest fights ppv wise were against de la Hoya ( the ppv King and biggest draw in the sport) Canelo( the biggest Mexican star in the sport fighting on a Mexican holiday) and manny(8 div champ fighter of the decade and known all over the world etc) against the berto's Guerrero's and maidana's of the world no one wanted to watch him run.. He owes the 3 previous boxers I just mentioned his career because they are the ones who basically gave him those records..

If the iv scandal was on the pac side *****s would be dancing screaming we told you so Floyd was right blah blah blah but because it's Floyd being caught doing something fishy it's ok. Gtfoh

          Respect.

Floyd. For all his flaws outside the ring, he was the most incredible boxer inside it. There'll never be another like him. Feel blessed to have lived through the Floyd Mayweather era. The greatest ever at his craft.

You do know he can't read or write right so the smarter then the people commenting part is just ******. His record has a lot of gloss he waited for fighters to age and he now we know he was given a pass by usada for a lot of stuff. He avoided the stacked welterweight division with his "retirement" and when he came back he fought a bloated Marquez and didn't even bother trying to make the catchweight.. Waited a year to fight Mosley then waited awhile to fight Ortiz and the knock out was bs again a lot of gloss. But give him credit he's a great boxer but "tbe" is a slap in the face to sugar Ray Leonard sugar ray Robinson, Ali etc etc also considering that manny pacquiaos accomplishments in the ring outweigh Floyd's.

If you think he was incredible in the ring than I feel for you having to live through such a horrible era

I am a boxing fan. I love the art of hitting and not getting hit. The subtle adjustments he makes once he works out his opponents while in the ring are beautiful to watch. If you prefer the fighting styles of Golovkin or Pacquiao, I'm no hater. They're great, just not the boxing styles I tend to appreciate.

You must also love the art of duck and hug for dear life. Miss and push or grab again for dear life. That's the Floyd Mayweather style. Fraud in the ring and outside the ring.

If that's the case go and watch Pernell Whitaker or Willie Pep, they were better at it and fought in tougher eras.

rocky marciano is not even in the top 80 for ATG list
Exactly. Floyd hasnt been in that strong an era and has still be accused of cherry picking and ducking. He didnt even want to fight the best of a weak era.

He never took risks. He has great skills as everyone said, but do his skills not work against bigger people? Fight GGG at middleweight see if your skills work or do those skills only work against bloated fighters like JMM and Pac.

WHy the CW against Canelo? THe true ATGs cleary have took more risks than Floyd, so if Floyd wants to be up there he knows what hes got to do.
