A lot of posters answered, GGG has fought a bunch of top tenners in his division, and those he hasn't have likely passed on multiple offers. Wilder has one top 10 scalp, and seems reluctant to fight the #1 contender.

And no ****, once you become a star you'll no longer fight for peanuts, duh. This PPV is a good thing, not only will it be a crowd pleaser, but the reward will finally start catching up to the risk for potential GGG opponents.

Got a copy of the official offer where Golovkin is asking someone for a catchweight?

Not happy the Lemieux fight is on PPV? Send your complaints to HBO.

They don't fight the same quality of opponents at all. GGG has defeated many middleweights who were rated in the top 10 in the world or higher when he fought them and he is fighting a fellow world champion in a few weeks. Wilder only fought one top 10 world ranked heavyweight when he won his title. EVERYONE ELSE he ever fought was ranked 30th in the world or much lower than that. The last guy he fought was ranked 31st by boxrec who are the only guys who rank low enough to include Wilder's pathetic opposition. His next victim is a boxer I know you never heard of before and he is from France. Boxrec ranks him 32nd. Some fans, myself included don't like Wilder because he is a cherry picking champion. If he starts defending his title against the quality of fighters a good champion is suppose to fight I will start liking him. GGG fights the best middleweights who will fight him and he will gladly fight any top middleweight in the world. Many of the world's best middleweights refuse to fight him and there is nothing he can do about that.

I think GGG has an amateur record of 351 wins and 1 loss. In all his amateur and pro fights I don't think he has ever been hurt and he has never been knocked down. He has the highest KO percentage in boxing and is currently working on a 20 KOs in a row streak. Just like old Money Mayweather GGG very seldom even loses a round and he has never been in a close fight. Is that enough credentials for you?

because wilder is hiding behind haymon, he should be fighting povetkin. ggg has verbally called out all middleweights, no one stepped up until lemieux. wilder just a haymon puppet

And I would point out, Wilder is not hated. People just don't think he's for real. I would love for him to be real, he seems like a good dude. I would be rooting for him, but I just would be surprised if he beat Vlad or Povetkin. Or even Tyson Fury for that matter.

But a for real American Heavyweight champion would be awesome.
