Despite Berto's limitations I thought he fought to the best of his abilities and this fight was much better than the Pacquaio fight but Berto's is 100% correct, Mayweather left a very bad taste in the mouth of most fans who saw the Pacquaio fight.

but hes been fighting that way for years it would make sense to be mad at the guy who didnt fight the way he usually fights not the guy who did the same thing. Floyd is finished offensivley imo and has been for some time

GGG's fight will do and be better considering its his first fight on ppv. What was floyds ppv numbers against baldimor and gatti again? and he wasn't even the popular one in those fights

Nah you can't blame this one on Floyd. Had Berto been someone who actually stood a chance in hell of winning, this thing would've done a million buys easily.

It just seems like Berto is mad because he lost people forget that Mayweather has been boxing like this for 10+ years but wasn't no one saying **** when he whooped Cotto or schooled Canelo yeah people feel he makes his fights boring just because there's no knockout within his last 7 fights but im like if he fought Pacquiao or Berto the same way he fought Ortiz in round 3 It would be a different story

Now the thing is would the fight did bigger numbers if he fought Thurman Brook Porter Garcia or Bradley it's hard to tell and would people give Floyd the same flack for picking one of those guys or taking a fight with Khan or Golovkin people gon hate just to hate Floyd beat Baldomir with ease same with Gatti De La Hoya Mosley and even tho he should of let Ortiz make it to round 5 he was schooling the boy and cutting the ring off so was that running I say no

And people also forget that Floyd is a numbers guy so he does worry about them PPV numbers believe he will be back for one more fight most likely against the winner of Canelo/Cotto or Thurman/Porter maybe even still take Khan which I doubt I see him fighting Brook before Khan

Floyd-manny did leave a bad taste in the public's mouth, but a Berto fight was never going to do big business.. Even if manny/floyd was spectacular, a Berto was only going to ghost/maidana1 tyoe numbers..
Had floyd fought cotto rematch instead of Berto, it would have easily cracked 1.2 mil or higher

Pacquiao doesn't fight the same because the fight was 5 years too late, dude cant pull the trigger especially after being knocked out cold, so the onus is on Floyd, if Pac was tentative and couldn't press the fight like he used to the onus is on Floyd to maket he fight and deliver the beatdown, his father said why you fighting scared hit his man throw your hands
