The last 3 undisputed middleweight champions are Marvin Hagler (1980-1987), Bernard Hopkins (2001-2005), Jermain Taylor (2005-2006). Unifying the middleweight division hasn't been done in a decade.

Beating Canelo/Cotto, Lemieux, & Andy Lee would elevate GGG's craptacular resume.

    Valid points?

He's extremely ugly and talks kind of funny but I didn't know he was in such bad shape other than that.

What positive discussions has Ward had with Duva? And when did Ward he say he is going to move up to LHW?

Duva wants the fight, and Roc would love Ward to fight anybody with a pulse. But the fight won't happen unless Ward wants it too, and he doesn't.

Check out this interview with Andre after the Floyd/Berto fight. When asked about Kovalev, just before the 1 min mark, Ward won't even speak Krusher's name.

"Critics want me to move up. They seem to be trying to push for that. But as always, I'm going to put my head together with my team, hit my knees and pray, and I'll do what's right for me and my family."

Ward isn't going to fight Kovalev.

Then he turns around and criticizes GGG for not doing what he himself didn't do. That's why Ward is so well liked.

Abel Sanchez pissess me off, though.

If Canelo - Cotto ends up closer than I think and they'll do a rematch and Golovkin still won't move up then I'll start criticize him.

As of right now, he's a guy trying to get the biggest payday of his career, like every other prize fighter out there does, there's nothing wrong with that.
That makes no sense. If they rematch, it won't be for MW belt, GGG gets it, he doesn't need to move up, he needs to unify.

They bend over backwards trying to make Ward seem like a true SMW. It's funny really.

That's was great. Maybe Smith hit him harder than he is willing to admit.

Which is why those who dislike him so bad want him to forgo such a move.

Roc Nation are not Ward and his trainer. As I keep pointing out, Roc and Duva can talk from now till doomsday. But if Andre doesn't want to fight Kovalev, it isn't happening.

GGG is not a big MW.

And 15lbs will be no problem to cut in 30 days for Lemieux.

Can't wait for this fight, gonna be exciting for however long it lasts.

Draining? Maybe it's simply that he is a natural middleweight. He could make the weight the same day as the fight (same as the old-timers - and the way it should still be). He's not draining at all.
