Wbc is so full of **** its not even funny. Mayweather retires, and what do they do? "That's ok Floyd, even though you retired, you can keep the belts for an additional two months".

They really need to take the 154 belts from him today. I can understand 147 since his retirement isn't official since no ones is in boxing but enough with 154

I would look at the opposite way. Floyd was dehydrated making 47' against Pacquiao... so I'd assume..he'd be moving up in weight..but then he fights Berto at 47' so I'm confused...

Not sure why a guy who is dehydrated at 47' would continue to fight at that weight..so that might be why he still wants to keep the 54' titles... he's still deciding which weight he'll fight at...

Wouldn't be shocked if Floyd shoots up to 160 and beats Triple G before moving up to 175 beating Kova and then beating Wlad at Heavyweight before retiring...

I'm sure Marquez is pissed about this news... I'm sure he was gunning for that 47 WBC title against a cherry-pick with no random-testing

                  I actually agree with this.

Although..... I do not respect the WBC, so dont really care.

At first glance this seems silly, Mayweather has retired, so strip him and move on. Why would you need to wait for him to vacate when he has officially announced his retirement.

But it is about building something better.

The welters, simply wont fight each other.

Anything that could change that is beneficial to boxing.
