Quit living in denial. HBO is a de facto promoter in the same way PBC is a de facto promoter. They just outsource the actual duties of promoting.

And obviously HBO has the best roster in the game, they are the industry leader in the sport. They should have the best roster.

Having said that I still feel like they've been sinking year after year & working with a smaller & smaller budget & I tend to suspect HBO Boxing will transition to UFC on HBO or Bellator on HBO inside of a decade. Gonna see Max Kellerman interviewing Errol Spence after his successful defense of the welterweight title during NBC prime time at some point.
