Wow. They don't want Kovalev, who is available. They want someone who is unavailable. It's very obvious.

They're avoiding the K name doe. And it's mind-boggling why when I've already shown them a poll that says it's a 50/50 fight. They're fake fans doe.

So far I sense a certain bitterness. This new species of fans link Ward to Floyd for some reason. Is it that they fear Ward becoming the new face of the sport so they want to prevent him from taking on the best opposition? Maybe they fear Ward will become the new Floyd and they will have to suffer another decade of a skilled, intelligent, defensively responsible fighter running the sport.

yea, Kovalev is much closer and easier to make IMO...i honestly think Ward gets lit up in that one...GGG-Ward, there would be a couple of question marks: 1. how does Ward look getting back down to 168 and 2. like i stated earlier, does GGG carry that pop at SMW

Ward only makes noise about GGG when the Russian is already preparing for his next fight. Fans want concrete proof not posturings. What did he offer on the table? What are his counter proposals? None. You won't see any effort coming from this guy. He's just faking doe. He wants another Paul Smith. Ward's a huge joke.

Golovkin's team were the first ones to comment on Ward a couple of years ago. Ward responded and they backed down.

Same thing happened this year. Tom Loeffler actually had to tell Abel Sanchez not to talk about Ward because they have no intention of fighting him looool how pathetic is that?

Team GGG are frauds - their entire career based off of beating old fighters, small fighters and dudes outside of the Top 20. Team GGG spoke of Ward going back 2-3 years and Ward always proved willing.

I hope Canelo and Cotto both have this marsh mellow out of the loop and force him up to 168. After Ward dispatches Little G, he can truly fight a real fighter who's proving to be a real beast, Killer Kov

I have another option. Ward makes for boring fights. GGG makes for exciting fights. The exciting fighter does not need the boring fighter. Hell, let me say the boring boxer. He is no fighter at all.

If they did fight, no doubt it would be held in Oakland at Ward's weight with a ref and judges picked by Ward I am sure. Another clause over big gloves would be involved as well. Why should GGG whose star is building want to tear that down by risking everything over a boring fight and potential loss?
