Just to kind of update you on everything. Ward, Duva and Kovalev have all stated that a Ward/Kovalev fight could happen, possibly next year. This came from all 3!!! Ward has already stated that he's going to be headed to 175 if he can't get any big fights at 168. Second, Golovkin would only be moving up 8 pounds to fight Ward at SMW. SMW is 168, MW a160. Thirdly, Floyd started off his career at 130, Golovkin at 160 and Ward 160. So yes, it is a problem for a guy that's a natural 140lber to fight a natural MW.

Triple g better duck mayweather if he wants to keep his KO monster image going.

Because if mayweather was to beat him the same people saying triple g is an beast will be the same people saying triple g fought bums his whole career and the fight does nothing for floyd because GGG was an bum that got exposed is what people would say.

This is like canelo all over again.triple g better play the "mayweather was scared to fight me because he knows I will beat him" card like the other boxers that could not cash in there mayweather ticket.

Floyds offense is pretty much gone at this age, any fights he does have if he comes back need to be at 147...

Mayweather doesn't need to prove anything at Middleweight. Let him retire while he has his health. Father time can take only so many rain checks.

Man The Tucker you have me laughing. Really Mayweather better not go anywhere near GGG. Dude, WILL STEAM ROLL Floyd. You can't throw 20 potshots a round, hold 10xs and rub your elbow in your opponents face an face 4 xs a round, and win it against a guy like GGG.

I see that you're reaching. Ward said he'd go up and fight Kovlev. He wants to do the GGG first because once he's up, he's not coming down. Secondly, one catchweight fight after 1-2years off means that he's a 172lb fighter? And Floyds gone up 5 classes GGG can't do one? Stop it bruh.

I agree with whats in bold, but it seems when its a fighter like Ward, Rigo, Broner (after DeMarco) or Mayweather no one seems to feel the same, and definitely won't speak up about it.What makes it worse is you defended having Floyd go up in THIS reply, then had the nerve to try to speak against it smh

The last frontier is the Cotto/Canelo winner for the lineal MW title. Win #50. World titles in 6 weight classes. Lineal titles in 5 weight classes.

It's a longshot, but as a fan, I would like to see it.

A younger Mayweather would stopped a guy like Berto. He has no business at middleweight at this stage of his career.

He's getting out at the right time. I hope he stays gone.

But to be TBE you have to do things you are not supposed to be able to do. Being a underdog is not a reason to not fight someone. Floyd will be underdog but there have been bigger underdogs.

Floyd will not be TBE in any historians eyes. He may make some historians top 20, some historians top 10 maybe. Im sure there is a historian out there who will have Floyd top 5.
Floyd just needs to push that little bit extra to tick another box. Fight outside your country, fight GGG at middleweight. You could have fought Sergio but didn't.
So no excuse that Floyd is 38. BH is doing things Floyd wont dare do and so have other 38 year olds. But its about the zero again, it always comes down to that. Not health. Because you can quit at any point in a fight.

It kills these guys that Floyd retired undefeated.

I agree with floyd sr. GGG is too big for floyd. He would run through floyd. Having said that floyd jr. should not be saying GGG is basic or discredit GGG if he wont fight him.

But yeah I give floyd a pass if he passes on GGG. Too big and strong and good for him.
